Troy University hosts Asthma Safari

Friday, Nov. 14: Troy University, and the College of Health and Human Services' Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, is sponsoring the annual Asthma Safari for children k-2 from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Witherington Family Center near the intersection of North Three Notch Street and Gibbs Street in Troy.

This event will involve about 300 children with asthma and will offer many stations designed to help them cope with their disease. This event is open to media for coverage.

Additionally, those desiring advance stories may do so between 9:30 a.m. and 12 Noon Thursday at the Center. Please contact the University Relations Office to more closely coordinate any interviews on Thursday. Set up will be taking place during this time period.
