DOTHAN—Jeff Coleman, president and CEO of the Coleman World Group, will deliver the keynote address to Troy University graduates during the fall commencement ceremony for the Dothan Campus on Sunday, Dec. 18.
More than 120 students will receive undergraduate and graduate degrees during the ceremony, which will be held at 3 p.m. in the Dothan Civic Center.
Coleman is a Dothan native and TROY alumnus. As head of the Coleman World Group he oversees one of the top 50 largest privately owned companies in the State of Alabama. Its two main divisions are Coleman American Moving Services and Covan Worldwide Moving.
Coleman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and a master in business administration degree from Troy University. He was awarded an Alumnus of the Year award from TROY in 2003.
He has served on the Alabama Commission on Higher Education since 2006 and is currently Vice Chairman.
Coleman's service to the Dothan area includes a stint as chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Dothan Industrial Development Board, the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation and serves as president of the Wiregrass Museum of Art Board of Trustees.
