Community forum, film screening highlight coverage opportunities this week at TROY Montgomery

6 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, Rosa Parks Museum Auditorium: Troy University's Rosa Parks Museum will present its final Real Talk Community Forum on issues affecting women at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the museum's auditorium.

Dr. Felicia Bell, the museum's director, will moderate the panel, which includes: Dr. Wynne Crawford of Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates, P.C.; Dr. Venus Hewing of Auburn University's Office of Diversity and Inclusion; and Mia Raven of The Power House and Montgomery Area Reproductive Coalition.

6 p.m., Friday, March 31, Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts: Troy University's Office of Sponsored Programs and the Rosa Parks Museum will bring the documentary highlighting the life of Civil Rights hero, human rights champion and Congressional leader John Lewis to Montgomery on Friday, March 31 for a free screening.

The screening of “Get in the Way: The Journey of John Lewis” will be shown in the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts at Troy University Montgomery, and will also feature a panel discussion of Troy University faculty upon the conclusion of the film.
