DOTHAN—Aspiring teachers at Troy University will get the chance to meet with potential employers during the Spring Education Fair on Thursday, March 19.
Separate events will be held at both the Dothan and Troy campuses, allowing recruiters to meet with students at both locations, said Keith Seagle, director of counseling and career services.
The fairs will give education majors interning this semester the chance to meet recruiters from area schools and discuss job opportunities, Seagle said. About a dozen schools are expected to participate.
The Dothan Campus fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. inside Malone Hall. The education fair will then move to the Trojan Center Ballrooms on the Troy Campus from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“The advantage of this type of format is that it allows students to have face-to-face contact with potential employers,” Seagle said.
