TROY, Ala.—Troy University’s Residence Hall Association is sponsoring its RHA Scholar Bowl for Black History Month.

“This program is designed to educate and increase our students’ knowledge on black history facts,” said Charlesetta Jones, residential education and facilities coordinator at TROY.

The game is played on a format similar to television’s “Family Feud,” with 11 teams of four members each entered into this year’s contest. In the final round, the remaining two teams face each other for the first-place trophy.

RHA sponsors several events throughout the year, and the Scholar’s Bowl is in its second year.

“This is one way we can provide a tribute to Black History Month on campus,” she said.
