May 5: TROY’s Army ROTC will conduct commissioning ceremonies for eight cadets at 2 p.m. in Wendell Mitchell Hall, located in the center of Sorority Hill. This event is open for coverage, but seating is limited. May 6: The Sorrell College of Business and the College of Health and Human Services will have commencement exercises at 10:30 a.m. in Sartain Hall on the Troy Campus. This ceremony will include the first Doctor of Nursing Practice graduates in the University’s history.
At 2 p.m., the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Communication and Fine Arts and Education will conduct commencement exercises. This commencement will include the first graduates of the College of Education’s Interpreter Training Program.
Almost 600 students are expected to participate in commencement, and Dr. Jeffrey Dugas is the commence speaker.
Both commencements are free and open to the public. Media covering the events should be in place no later than 15 minutes prior to the program start.
