TROY to host Homecoming Tailgate Party at the Dothan Campus

DOTHAN—Troy University will celebrate homecoming at the Dothan Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 9, with a "Tailgate Party" on the quad sponsored by the Student Government Association.

The party will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and again from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for students with evening classes.

The event will feature free food, games and prizes, with music from the TROY Pep Band from noon to 1 p.m. and an appearance by the Trojan Cheerleaders and mascot, T-Roy.

An "Academic Major Fair" will also be held to coincide with the Tailgate Party. Students who are undecided on a major or looking into graduate school can meet with faculty members to discuss programs during the picnic hours.

Troy University's Homecoming Celebration will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Troy Campus. The festivities will start with a parade in downtown Troy at 10 a.m. Kickoff for the football game versus North Texas will be at noon.
