DOTHAN—In celebration of Women's History Month, Troy University will host a free screening of the documentary "Miss Representation" on Tuesday, March 27, at the Dothan Campus.
Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the film exposes how the mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. It was an Official Selection of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and premiered on the Oprah Winfrey Network in October.
The screening will be held at 7 p.m. inside Sony Hall in the Library/Technology Building. Admission is free and open to the public.
