TROY – Troy University's Small Business Development Center will be hosting a pair of training courses and one-on-one business counseling next week as part of Small Business Week in Pike County.
On Monday, May 9, "Simple Tips to Get Your Business Found Online" will be taught from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Pike County Economic Development Center, at 100 Industrial Blvd., in Troy's Industrial Park on U.S. Highway 231 South. The class is limited to 25 participants, who will receive a free Google Swag Bag.
"QuickBooks Training for Beginners," will be taught from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11
The four-hour training will teach small business accounting and use of the software for a fee of $25. Existing QB Pro or Premier users should bring their laptops with the software installed.
