Media Advisory: Rosa Parks Museum to present 'Police and Our Community' forum on Tuesday

Tuesday, Oct. 4, 6 p.m., Rosa Parks Library and Museum Auditorium – Troy University's Rosa Parks Museum will present a community forum on “Police and Our Community” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday's event is the first of the three-part “Real Talk: A Community Forum Series,” and will be held in the museum's auditorium on the Troy University Montgomery campus. A community forum on “Juvenile Sentencing” is scheduled for Oct. 11, and “Human Trafficking” will be the topic for the Oct. 18 event.

Tuesday's event will feature a panel consisting of Tim Anderson of Southside Church of Christ, Montgomery Police Chief Ernest N. Finley, Jr., Montgomery Director of Public Safety Chris Murphy and Ronald Smith, a certified non-violence trainer with New Way. Dr. D'Linell Finley, Sr., pastor of Southlawn Baptist Church, will serve as the moderator.
