Full-time university educational administration faculty and local public school supervisors oversee the intern to ensure field experience is acquired in the areas of curriculum, instruction, student services, leadership skills, staff development,
school and community relations, management skills, and legal responsibilities. Competencies to be addressed are taken from the Alabama State Department of Education Administrative Code. Internship requires a minimum of 300 clock hours and must be completed at the home campus (Prerequisite: Restricted to students who are admitted to an NCATE approved EAL Certification program and have permission of the Department.) There must be a minimum of six months from the beginning of this course to the completion of EAL 6664. |
