The Foundations of the United States Air Force 1 (1)
  Is the first of two courses designed to introduce students to the United States Air Force and provides an overview of the basic characteristics, missions, and organization of the Air Force. Co-requisite: AS L112

  Leadership laboratory is mandatory for AFROTC cadets and it complements the AS 1112 course by providing cadets with advanced leadership experiences, giving students the opportunity to apply the leadership and management principles. Co-requisite: AS 1112

The Evolution of the USAF Air and Space Power I (1)
  The first of two courses featuring topics on Air Force heritage and leaders; introduction to air power through examination of the Air Force Core Functions, and continued application of communication skills. Its purpose is to instill an appreciation of the development and employment of air power and to motivate sophomore students to transition from AFROTC cadet to AFROTC officer candidate. Prerequisite: AS 1113 Co-requisite: AS L212

  The first of two courses designed for college seniors and gives them the foundation to understand their role as military officers in American society. It is an overview of the complex social and political issues facing the military profession and requires a measure of sophistication commensurate with the senior college level. Prerequisite: AS 3313. Co-requisite: AS L412

National Security Affairs/Preparation for Active Duty II (3)
  The second of two courses designed for college seniors and gives them the foundation to understand their role as military officers in American society.
