The Southeast Chinese Language Association will host its 6th Annual Conference at TROY University—Confucius Institute, Montgomery, AL from Oct. 7-8, 2016.
The Annual Conference gathers the field’s experts to offer you relevant knowledge, wisdom, and expertise. The 6th Annual Conference of the Southeast Chinese Language Association (SECLA) planning committee welcomes (1) videos for teaching demonstrations and (2) proposals for interactive presentations. The conference invites discussions on American context-based Chinese language and culture education.
This track allows presenters opportunities to share experiences and ideas from their practices. Each presentation will be 30 minutes, consisting of a teaching video demonstration (5-10 minutes), a presentation (10-15 minutes) and a group discussion (10 minutes) based on the videos.
This track is featured by focusing on theory and empirical research. Each presentation will be 30 minutes, including a 20 minutes speech and 10 minutes to answer the questions from the audiences.
