Objectives of Ethics 1 and 2:

  • To review the purpose for a code of ethics.
  • To understand the difference between a law and a code.
  • To present scenarios in which ethically boundaries have been crossed.
  • To review the code of ethics as it pertains to professional counselors.
  • To present how a professional counselor protects their clients and themselves ethically.
  • To present some current cases of ethical breaches and the resolution to these cases.

Cancellation Policy
Failure to attend a seminar does not constitute withdrawal. In case of cancellation, the Continuing Education Center must be notified directly prior to the date of the seminar. Refunds will not be made available the day of the seminar. Seminars are subject to cancellation based on insufficient enrollment. In the event a seminar is cancelled, registrants will be notified and an appropriate refund will be made.
