Genealogy Basics

Designed for the beginner genealogist, this course explains the fundamentals of researching one’s ancestry. You will be guided through the process of collecting available family records and information, then working backward, from the known into the unknown. Both printed and online sources will be explored. You will learn to document the sources consulted, record the information and organize the research in an orderly manner.
