Through lecture, assignments, guest speakers and hands-on experience, learn how to use photography equipment to create dynamic visual images.
Modern digital cameras have several “modes” by which you can set the camera for taking images under varying conditions. These modes can work well most of the time in the image making process.
For this certificate course, it would be to your advantage to have a “manual override” mode by which you can set your own aperture and shutter speed. This feature allows you to adjust the image according to your personal vision. It gives you the opportunity for making adjustments based on your individual perception of the subject.
Instructed by renowned photographer Bob Joslin, students will gain hands-on experience, create a portfolio suitable for exhibition or professional use, and develop skills to produce eye-catching photographic images that provide you with the foundation to begin a new career.
Future dates to be determined and will be posted when confirmed. If you are interested in a particular area of photography, please let us know by email at email@example.com or by telephone at 334-983-0005.
