Join us online April 12 to 14 for eCampus eColloquium 2011, as we explore online classroom strategies aimed at preventing students from dropping out. The theme of the three-day training event, which is open to all TROY faculty and staff, is Retention – YOU Are the Key. During the eColloquium, your colleagues will share course design tips that promote student success. You will also find out how other instructors at eCampus are incorporating technologies that can help you reach your own students. Plus, you will discover ways to better serve students with disabilities. In addition to live and archived sessions that focus on retention, eColloquium presenters will discuss where we stand with Blackboard 9.1. The eColloquium committee is currently accepting proposals from instructors interested in presenting training sessions. Proposals should relate to this year’s theme and can be submitted at Call for Papers. Presenters will receive a gift card and will also be entered into a drawing for a prize. This year, we will again be giving away plenty of prizes courtesy of our sponsors. Log in during the eColloquium for an opportunity to take home a personal GPS, digital camera, luggage set and much more. You must register for the eColloquium and be present in online sessions for a chance to win. To register, click here. For more information, contact Lee Scarborough at lscarborough@troy.edu. |
