Troy University eCampus Update 11 ~ Term 4, 2010
Message from the Director...

It’s hard to believe how fast the terms fly by. The staff at eCampus has been working hard with our students and faculty to continue service for our online programs.

There are many changes happening at eCampus. Our offices in Fort Walton Beach and Columbus are being consolidated, and our Student Services staff is relocating to Troy. Along with the consolidation, new office space is under construction in Troy at the Park Lane facility, which we expect to occupy in early 2011.

Starting in February, the Student Services staff will be housed at the ELC. In preparation, four units have moved to the fourth floor of Hawkins Hall to make room. Academics (Dr. Echord and staff); Educational Technology (Ronnie Creel and staff); Instructional Design (Gayle Nelson) and Quality Assurance (Dr. Fortune and staff) are now located in Hawkins Hall. Their phone numbers and emails have not changed, and they will continue to receive all mail at 1101 South Brundidge Street in Troy.

Mark your calendar for the eColloquium coming up April 13-15, with the QEP workshop preceding on April 12.

The University recently received re-accreditation from SACS and is now in the next strategic planning phase. We are looking to bringing more programs online, while continuing our service to students and faculty in the current programs. Our staff is only a phone call or email away.
