we are starting Term 5 and another academic year
is coming to an end. We’ve had a great year,
with over 93,000 enrollments.
We had our first totally online Colloquium which
was a huge success, with thanks to Gayle Nelson
and her staff, along with the other eCampus
staff who assisted in testing the sessions. We
had an average of 130 attendees in the live
sessions. Our sponsors provided excellent
support and prizes.
We started the eCampus online course quality
assurance process this past year. By the time
Term 5 is completed, all colleges will have had
courses go through the process.
We have implemented the new proctoring policy,
using the remote proctor, with all the graduate
programs. We are working on an implementation
plan for undergraduate programs starting with
09T1.
Thanks to all who participated in the
preparation and visit of the SACS team. eCampus
did very well in the review. It is because of
the hard work of the staff and faculty teaching
online that we are such a success.

Graduate from TROY on May 8th
Dr. Deb Gearhart (right), eCampus director,
congratulates eCampus employees (from left) Mark
Davis (Student Services), Mandy Mauldin
(Educational Technology/Blackboard) and Alicia
Harkless (Educational Technology/Blackboard) on
their recent graduation from Troy University. On
May 8, Davis earned an MBA with a concentration
in General Management, and Mauldin received her
Associate of Science in General Education with a
concentration in Business Administration, while
Harkless earned her MPA with a concentration in
Justice Administration.
