Course Placement for CLEP Test

Eligibility for Credit

Troy University will grant appropriate credit for acceptable scores earned on CLEP exams listed on this web page. Scores are accepted at the 50th percentile or higher and are subject to change.

Students must wait at least six (6) months before retaking the same CLEP examination.

For students taking exams from other institutions to have a copy of CLEP test scores sent to TROY, include the number 5791 on the examination.

All Computer Based Tests (CBT) will have a passing score of 50. This reflects the new scoring implemented by CLEP effective July 1, 2001.
