Procedure

  1. Choose a proctor from the list of approved options for your course (see below)
  2. Submit your choice using the online proctor form.
  3. eCampus staff will review your proctor's information.
  4. When your form is approved, your proctor will receive the information for your exam.
  5. Contact your proctor to confirm receipt of the exam information and to schedule an exam appointment.
    • If you choose ProctorU, visit their website to schedule an appointment immediately: www.proctoru.com/troy
    • If you choose the remote proctor device, install and test your software as soon as possible: www.troy.edu/remoteproctor

Note:

In most cases, you should expect to pay a fee for proctoring services. Fees average around $25, but can be higher or lower depending on the proctor you choose.

Proctor options for courses with special requirements

MFTs and MAPPs

These exams are required to earn your degree. They are third-party standardized tests with different requirements than regular course exams. You will need to take the MAPP once you have earned 70 credit hours toward your degree. You will need to take the MFT if you are enrolled in or have completed CJ 4499, PSY 4480, or MGT 4476. ACT 2292, ECO 2251, ECO 2252, IS 3300, LAW 2221, and QM 2241 (Formative Exams)

  • ProctorU online service (webcam proctoring)
  • Approved third-party testing center

MGT 4476 and 4479 (Capstone Exams)

  • Approved third-party testing center

All MTH courses except MTH 2215

  • ProctorU online service (webcam proctoring)
  • Approved third-party testing center
