On behalf of the Panhellenic Executive Council and Troy University, I am Erin Salter the 2015 Panhellenic President, and I would like to invite you to our Greek community here at Troy University. As a student, I am privileged to be apart of such a wonderful community that has assisted me in making the most of my college experience, while providing me with opportunities to excel in leadership, philanthropy, academics, sisterhood, and networking. Our Greek system will provide you with the possibilities to make your mark on our university, positively impact the lives around you, and most importantly lead you to your lifelong friends.
As Panhellenic President, I am honored to be working with an Executive Board of outstanding leaders from each of our five chapters, as well as each chapter president. Greek Life has given me a chance to meet a variety of different women, but one thing remains the same between all women in each chapter, our values. We strive to strengthen the bond among our chapters and uphold to excellent and honorable standards.
When joining a sorority three years ago, I never dreamed of the possibilities and countless occasions afforded to me. It is because our Greek system, I have gained more confidence for myself, learned the importance of time management, and enhanced my networking skills. By going Greek I have been given countless leadership roles and they have each challenged me to become a better friend while teaching me the importance of sisterhood.
By joining something bigger than yourself, you are giving yourself no boundaries.
With all of this being said, I would like to invite you to look at our website and check out our videos to see what our Greek system here at Troy has to offer. Immerse yourself in this opportunity and don’t hesitate to find your place in the Panhellenic community. Allow this to impact your life in the way you want it to, and be open to all the exciting things that Panhellenic has to offer. Whether it be the encouragement to have your mind to think, the relationships to have your heart to feel, or even the ability to have your body to act, Troy University and its Greek system will create a new home for you and give you the experience of a lifetime.
