Pike County
Chapter gears up
for busy fall
The Pike County Alumni
Chapter kicked off what will
be a busy fall season with its
annual meeting and kickoff
party on Aug. 18.
The event, held in the
Stadium Club at Veterans
Memorial Stadium, featured a
preview of the football season
by Coach Larry Blakeney and
a New Orleans-style dinner
with Bourbon Street Chicken
and Jambalaya.
The Chapter also is continu-
ing its effort to “Wave the
Trojan Flag” this fall. Through
the campaign, the Chapter
purchases TROY fags that are
placed along U.S. 231 to show
the Trojan spirit. The cost is
$40 per fag. For additional
