A Troy University alumna has been named to serve as the University’s chief accountant.
Tara Donaldson, who earned a Master’s of Business Administration in 2000 and her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1999 at TROY, began her duties as controller on Nov. 1. She had previously served as associate dean of business operations and treasurer at Central Alabama Community College and as director of accounting.

At TROY, Donaldson will direct a staff of 22, and her functional responsibilities will include sponsored program accounting, accounts payable, financial reporting, debt service, audit liaison, general accounting office service areas and indirectly as counsel for ancillary financial related functions.
