Troy University’s Department of Marketing and Communication recently received 15 awards in the annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) competition, including three gold medals for two advertising campaigns and a silver medal for its alumni magazine “TROY Magazine.”
The University was awarded gold medal for its “Be There When IT Happens” radio commercial and gold medals in both Newspaper Ad and Magazine Ad categories for its series “See Your Future Through.”
The University took six silver medals in the categories of Television Ad, Newspaper Ad, Annual Report, Poster, Internal Publication (TROY Magazine) and Website. Six merit awards were also given.
In addition, the University’s communication and marketing efforts earned nine honors from the Higher Education Marketing Report.
The University took three gold awards in the categories of Newspaper Advertising, Publication/Internal (TROY Magazine) and radio advertising. A bronze award was earned in the Annual Report category for “Troy University – A Decade of Distinction.”
Merit Awards were also received in the Newspaper Advertising, Magazine Advertising and Television Advertising categories.
In February, the University received recognition from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
Two Awards of Excellence were received in the Printed Publications Paid Advertisement Series category and one in the Audiovisual Communication, Radio Program, Podcast, and Announcement category.
The University also received a Special Merit Award in the Printed Publications Paid Advertisement category.
