Besides being an extremely successful
business woman, Nichols is also a loving

Luker, a senior print journalism major from
Kellyton, is a student writer in the Office of
University Relations.
I have to say that Dr. Garrott was one
of the main professors that influenced
me to do what I do today,” Nichols
said. “His class set the groundwork

Now that I have been in the fashion
industry for some time, I have realized
that the education that I received from
TROY and the mentoring I received
from Dr. Garrott is priceless to me
and my business. Without those two
things, my companies would not be
where they are today. On several
occasions throughout the past 10

advice. He has always been willing to
help and has helped me conquer the
many challenges that this business
tends to throw at me each day.
