Sim Byrd

Former Troy University football standout Sim Byrd was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Birmingham in May. Byrd, who led TROY to an NAIA championship in 1968, was among seven to be inducted in the 2008 class.
