When the Atlanta Magazine talks about Troy University alumna Clara L. Fryer, it uses terms like “Superlawyer” or “one of the top 50 women lawyers in Georgia.”
Fryer specializes in real estate closings and is the owner of The Fryer Law Firm in Atlanta.
In 1980, she received her undergraduate from Troy University. She later received her juris doctorate from the University of Alabama, but it was her college experience at Troy University that she credits with paving the way for her success.
“I had a wonderful college experience filled with activities that continue to serve me in my career. I believe that the interpersonal skills I developed in Student Government, as well as the Phi Mu sorority, are a factor in how I work for win-win solutions in my law practice,” Fryer said.
Fryer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and a board member for the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorney Association. She has co-authored numerous field-related publications such as Buying a Home (State Bar of Georgia).
In 1997, Fryer founded her law firm to exclusively serve as a real estate closing practice, specializing in providing a positive closing experience to clients purchasing and selling homes in metro-Atlanta neighborhoods.
Fryer believes that attending school at Troy University helped to build character.
“TROY is a great place to get an education and develop the character you want to take into the work place. I hope anyone currently at TROY takes full advantage of choices they have,” she said.
