Dr. Curtis Pitts, vice chancellor of TROY’s Phenix City Campus, is recovering from injuries suffered during a serious car accident on May 21.

Pitts sustained many injuries in the accident, breaking his neck, back, femur, hip, ribs and shoulder. Once stabilized at a local hospital, he was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center, where he remained as of July 1.
