It all started with Cameron Sheffield in the fifth round (142nd overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs) and when the dust settled from the 2010 National Football League draft, three TROY Trojans were selected by NFL franchises.
Defensive back Jorrick Calvin was the next to go. The Baton Rouge, LA-native missed the 2009 season, but his one season with TROY was enough for the Arizona Cardinals to select him in the sixth round (201st overall).
Levi Brown, the 2009 Sun Belt Player of the Year, was the final Trojan to be drafted. Brown was picked by the Buffalo Bills where he will be re-united with former TROY standout Leodis McKelvin who was drafted 11th overall in 2008. Brown was the 209th overall selection.
The head coach in Buffalo is former TROY head man Chan Gailey who led the Trojans to a national championship in 1984.
