Welcome to the Montgomery Campus
Nestled within the heart of Alabama’s capitol city, Troy University’s Montgomery Campus not only expands the reach of Troy University, but also extends the quality academic experience synonymous with our award-winning public university. Stationed along downtown’s Montgomery Street and surrounded by some of the city’s grandest buildings and most interesting offerings—such as the Rosa Parks Library and Museum and the historic Davis Theatre—our campus is perfectly poised to help usher in an area-wide renaissance.
As the area begins to see growth, one thing is a constant: we remain a destination for students of all ages and backgrounds who share a common goal—creating opportunity and improving their lives through education. Whether you’re pursuing an undergraduate degree or continuing your education in one of our nationally recognized graduate or professional studies programs, we offer our students the ability to achieve more than they’ve ever dreamed possible.
Now, we are offering our students more graduate and professional school options than ever before. Beginning in 2015, TROY will offer graduate degrees in management, criminal justice and public administration in a new limited residency format that combines the best of in-class and online academic experiences. Students will get to know their professors and classmates during a kick-off weekend, then work with them online until they meet again for a wrap-up weekend before graduation. Our new limited residency format integrates the face-to-face support of being in class with the convenience of TROY’s online learning platform, eTROY, so that time and location will no longer be barriers in earning degrees. At Troy Montgomery, you’ll get to share these weekend experiences with your peers on our downtown campus where state government and international business converge.
There’s a reason TROY has been on the Princeton Review’s “Best in the Southeast” list for 10 consecutive years—our student-centeredness leads to success. Troy Montgomery plays a vital role within Troy University’s worldwide, academic mission by providing our students affordable and convenient academic options through on-campus and online classes. Split into five nine-week terms, we provide more academic opportunities for our students by allowing them the ability to complete two more classes a year than the usual three-semester academic year. With our caring, understanding and knowledgeable faculty, our campus is here to put you and your dreams first even when you can’t.
