| TSU to hold systemwide business symposium |

faculty members from across the Troy State University System
will visit Troy Feb. 23-24 for the third annual Systemwide Business
Symposium, "2001 A Business Odyssey: A Look at Business in the
New Millennium." Sessions will be held Friday and Saturday, with faculty members presenting papers and leading panel discussions on a full range of topics, including e-commerce, marketing strategies, business college accreditation, accounting regulations and the global economy, with presentations on conditions in Mexico and Asia. The symposium is designed to bring together members of TSU’s business faculty to discuss the important issues of the day, according to Dr. Tom Ratcliffe, Dean of the Sorrell College of Business. Dr. Ratcliffe said the symposium is an important way to "bridge the gap" between the campuses throughout the Troy State University System. Scheduled to participate are faculty members from the main campus in Troy, Troy State University at Phenix City, Troy State University Dothan, Troy State University Montgomery and several sites in the University College division, which operates campuses in 14 U.S. states and six foreign nations. |
