| TSU's University Activities Council to play host to "Two Thin" |
| The
University Activities Council (UAC) of Troy State University
will play host to "Two Thin," a comedy show about eating disorders,
on Tuesday, Feb. 13. "Two Thin is an educational program on eating disorders that promises to be fun and entertaining," said Paul Perry, vice-chairman of UAC. "The audience will enjoy the comedy of Michelle Garb and Dani Klein as they speak about their battle and triumph over anorexia and bulimia." The show begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater and is free to the public. "Two Thin" creators Michelle Garb and Dani Klein are professional comics who have worked at clubs and colleges throughout the county. Their show invites the audience to participate with a true/false sketch that dispels common myths about anorexia and bulimia. Other skits include "Cooking with Two Thin," a mock cooking show that deals with food obsession in the kitchen, and the "10,000 Calorie Pyramid Game," in which the audience tests its knowledge on eating disorders and their manifestations in daily life.
