to 'step' into Black History Month |
| The
students of Troy State University will "step" into Black History
Month when the annual Step Show takes the stage, Wednesday Feb.
7. The Step Show, sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA), will be held in Sartain Hall at 6:30 p.m. "The Black History month Step Show is a great way to get all the students involved," said Heather Hines, SGA president. "It gives the student body and the TSU community a chance to celebrate African-American history." Tickets will be sold in the Adams Center lobby for $5 Thursday Feb.1, Friday Feb. 2, Monday Feb. 5 and Tuesday Feb. 6. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $7. Fifteen groups will compete and each of the groups will receive a $100 cash participation award. Cash prizes will also be awarded to those groups finishing first, second or third.
