State University fall commencement set for Friday Troy State University’s fall commencement ceremony will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at 10:30 a.m. in Sartain Hall on the TSU campus. Cullman businessman and Troy State trustee Roy Drinkard will deliver the commencement address. Approximately 400 students from 23 U.S. states and 12 foreign countries will receive degrees during the ceremony. Among the graduates are 11 students from Taiwan, who arrived on campus earlier in the week to complete the final requirements for their Executive Master of Business Administration degrees. The students, mostly upper-level and mid-level management personnel from Taiwanese firms, have been earning their graduate degrees at TSU’s site in Taiwan. In addition, a student from University College’s Hong Kong campus traveled to Troy to receive his degree. University College administers more than 50 sites in 15 U.S. states and eight foreign nations and oversees the Distance Learning Center in Troy, which provides degree programs over the Internet. TSU’s commencement ceremony is scheduled to begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Sartain Hall. |
