TSU National Alumni Association elects board members
     Kathryn Amesbury Campbell of Troy, Bobby Ross Phillips, Sr. of Adel, Ga. and Clement Lloyd Taylor of Destin, Fla. have been elected to the Troy State University National Alumni Association Board of Directors.
   The newly elected members were nominated by the National Alumni Association Nominations Committee and elected by the board of directors.
   The National Alumni Association works to support the chancellor, board of trustees, administrators, faculty and staff of the TSU system, according to Faith Ward, Director of Alumni Affairs. It promotes alumni loyalty through programs, services and merchandise.
   Campbell graduated from TSU in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. She has been a member of the Pike Liberal Arts Board. Campbell is a member of the First Baptist Church in Troy, where she is on the Youth Advisory Board and is the Children's Choir Assistant. She is a Troy Country Club Board member and president of the Ladies Golf Association.
   Phillips received his bachelor of science degree from TSU in 1959. After his graduation, he worked as a football coach, mathematics teacher, athletic director and assistant principal. Since 1975, he has served as executive vice-president of Adel Banking Company. He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Adel, where he is Chairman of Deacons. Phillips was Adel City Councilman for two terms. He has been a Lions Club member since 1975, which he was president and director and is currently serving as treasurer.
   In 1968, Taylor, earned his bachelor of science in secondary education from TSU. He serves as an Okaloosa County School District board member. Taylor has also worked as a community and home school liaison specialist and taught social studies at W.C. Pryor Junior High. He was named Kiwanian of the Year in 1990. The same year, he was elected to the Destin City Council.
