TSU plans panel discussion featuring minority entrepreneurs Feb. 26
A panel-discussion seminar featuring successful minority entrepreneurs from the Troy, Montgomery and Dothan areas is planned for Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Troy State University in the Trojan Center Ballrooms from 10 a.m. until noon.
The chapters of SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) and Phi Gamma Nu, a business fraternity, along with the Small Business Development Center at TSU are sponsoring the seminar.
The seminar is free and open to the public.
Sebrena Moten, assistant professor in accounting and business law in the Sorrell College of Business, said the seminar will allow the panel members to share their successes, their failures, their wisdom, and their ideas of what has worked for them.
According to Dr. Tish Matuszek, assistant professor in marketing, management, and economics, "Our panel members have faced many challenges, have had to overcome many obstacles and have a wealth of knowledge to share with us."
Dr. Matuszek added the seminar will provide an excellent opportunity to anyone with an interest in business to ask questions, to obtain useful information and to gain practical ideas.
Contact the Small Business Development Center at 334-670-3524 for more information on the seminar.
