Step Show scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28 |

State University will hold its annual Step Show in celebration
of Black History Month Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Adams
Center Ballrooms on the TSU campus. The event, sponsored by the Student Government Association, is open to all TSU students. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased in advance from SGA members. The Step Show has become a TSU tradition and is helpful in raising awareness of Black History Month, said Rachel Smith, SGA member. "Organizations perform highly choreographed steps and put together intricate chants that go along with the steps," Barbara Patterson, director of student involvement, said. "It is extremely entertaining to watch." Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place finishers, Patterson said. For more information, contact the SGA office at 670-3212. |
