to dedicate Paden House on Saturday Troy State University will hold a special dedication ceremony Saturday, Nov. 16, beginning at 9:30 a.m. to rename Hill Crest House II as the Jack G. Paden House. The Paden House is a wellness residence hall that provides students a place to live a healthy lifestyle, free of alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs. Residents are chosen through a screening process that includes an application, recommendations from faculty and peers and an interview. These special residence halls allow students to make wise choices to improve their physical, mental and spiritual health. The late Jack G. Paden was the former director of the Hill Crest Foundation. The ceremony will be held at Paden House on College Drive on the TSU campus. The ceremony will include brief remarks from a member of Mr. Paden’s family, a student who lives in the house and Chancellor Jack Hawkins, Jr. |
