specialist to deliver program at TSU Brown Bag Luncheon The Troy State University College of Education’s latest Brown Bag Luncheon for all students, faculty and staff is set for Tuesday, Oct. 16 from noon until 12:45 p.m. in the Trojan Center student lounge area. The monthly series is designed for educators and students majoring in education to meet in an informal setting to share ideas and discuss trends in education, according to Dr. Donna Jacobs, Dean. Wendy Watson, reading specialist for the TSU In-Service Center and former reading specialist for Pike County Elementary School, will discuss the impact of the Reading First grant on Alabama education. Dr. Jacobs said any TSU student, faculty or staff member is welcome to attend, as are teachers in area school systems. Call the Dean’s office at 670-3365 for more information. |
