TSU Dean of Education to speak at Brown Bag Luncheon

The Troy State University College of Education’s latest Brown Bag Luncheon for all students, faculty and staff is set for Tuesday, Feb. 11, from noon until 12:45 p.m. in Room 224 of the Trojan Center.

The monthly series is designed for educators and students majoring in education to meet in an informal setting to share ideas and discuss trends in education, according to Dr. Donna Jacobs, Dean.

Dr. Jacobs will speak on The Alabama State Department of Education Report Card and the "No Child Left Behind" legislation and their impact on Teacher Education Programs in Alabama.

Any TSU student, faculty or staff member is welcome to attend, as are teachers in area school systems. Call the Dean’s office at 670-3365 for more information.
