Troy State University choral program plans Valentine's Cabaret benefit

The choral program of the John M. Long School of Music at Troy State University will host a Valentine’s Cabaret benefit at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 7. The event will take place in the Wright Hall Gymnasium on the TSU campus.

A punch reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by an Italian buffet at 7 p.m. The evening will feature a live combo for dancing, as well as a concert by the TSU Collegiate Singers and Chamber Choir. A silent auction also will be held.

Tickets are $50 per couple and are available by calling 670-3773. Reservations are required by Feb. 6.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the purchase of music and other supplies and equipment for the choral program.
