TSU faculty recital planned for Jan. 26

Dr. James Zingara, Assistant Professor of Music at Troy State University, will present a faculty recital featuring music by prominent 20th century composers Sunday, Jan. 26 beginning at 3 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater.

A highlight of the concert will be the premiere performance of "Autumn Time," composed by Dr. Carl Vollrath, Professor Emeritus of Music at TSU. Dr. Vollrath joined the TSU faculty in 1965.

Dr. Zingara will play the trumpet and Lis Donaldson from Montgomery will accompany him on the piano.

The recital will also feature selections by William Latham, Otto Ketting, Bernhard Krol, Andre Jolivet and Jacques Casterede.
