January 21, 2003 Troy State University theatre to present encore performances of 'Two Rooms,' Jan. 29-30 The Troy State University Theatre production “Two Rooms,” which will be performed during the regional competition of the American College Theatre Festival in Savannah, Ga. next month, will be presented for local audiences Jan. 29-30 at the Adams Center Theatre. The performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Tickets, which go on sell Tuesday, are $5 for general admission. TSU students are admitted free with ID. The play, Lee Blessing’s drama based on the Mideast hostage crisis of the 1980s, was selected for the Region IV festival, Feb. 4-9, at the Savannah (Ga.) College of Art & Design. The 10-state region is one of eight that make up the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. The play, directed by Adena Moree, focuses on the American hostage, Michael Wells (portrayed by David Sewell of Ozark); his distraught wife, Lainie (Sarah Looney of Marion); Walker Harris (Dean Muhammad of Anniston), a State Department official; and Ellen Van Oss (Georgia Mallory of Prattville), a journalist. All four actors will compete for Irene Ryan scholarships at
