   IMPACT Leaders selected at TSU
Twelve students were selected as this year’s IMPACT Leaders at TSU for the summer.
IMPACT — Involving and Motivating People Across Campus, Together—is TSU’s orientation program for incoming students. IMPACT Leaders direct new student orientation activities for undergraduates who will begin TSU in the Fall 2003 Semester. They are mentors and guides for first-year students. They teach students about campus resources and services, advise them of academic requirements and acquaint new students with one another so that they will become comfortable in their new surroundings.
“Each IMPACT Leader has something unique to offer our program,” said Susan Pierce, IMPACT Director. Some excel in fine arts, others are Student Government Association leaders and all are outgoing, caring people who are eager to help new students.”
These IMPACT Leaders were chosen for their ability to effectively lead groups and to share their positive experiences.
