TSU lecture series on Korea continues Nov. 14
    Troy State University will continue its' presentation on Korean culture in conjunction with the Global Access Project by having Jill Whitfield of Seoul Restaurant in Montgomery speak on the topic of Korean cuisine.
    The lecture will be in room 124 of the Math and Science complex at 3 p.m on Nov. 14. There is no charge for the lecture, which is open to the public.
    The “Global Access Project” was created by the U.S. Department of State in order to increase knowledge of American foreign policy and international issues as well as to encourage careers in civil and foreign services at the U.S. Department of State.
    TSU was one of 11 universities nationwide chosen to participate in the project. This lecture is the fifth of a series of five events.
    “This lecture is one piece of the puzzle, which will inform the community and give them a better understanding of Korean culture,” said Richard Nokes, director of Upper Division Literature at TSU.
