Williamson
named TSU Homecoming Queen
Lynsey Williamson, a senior from Montgomery, was named Troy State University’s homecoming queen for 2003. Williamson, the daughter of Lyndol and Jan Williamson, was elected by a vote of the student body. Thirty-two students competed in the election, which was sponsored by the TSU Student Government Association. The announcement was made Thursday night at a pep rally in Trojan Arena. The queen and court will be honored at the homecoming parade, set for 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown Troy. The queen will be crowned during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Saturday prior to the football game with Florida International University. |
