Whetstone to speak at Brown Bag Luncheon at TSU The Troy State University College of Education’s latest Brown Bag Luncheon for all students, faculty and staff is set for Wednesday, Oct. 15, from noon until 12:45 p.m. in the Trojan Center student lobby located on the second floor. The monthly series is designed for educators and students majoring in education to meet in an informal setting to share ideas and discuss trends in education, according to Dr. Donna Jacobs, Dean. Dr. Mabry Whetstone, Director of Special Education for the Alabama State Department of Education will speak on the federal “No Child Left Behind” legislation. He will also give an update on special education issues. Any TSU student, faculty or staff member is welcome to attend, as are teachers in area school systems.
