Director of Campus Dining at Troy State University Todd Milewicz, the new general manager of campus dining at Troy State University, is already planning several changes to improve service to students. Milewicz is working to create a more student-centered campus dining service. "I want to leave the decisions about our food services up to the students,” Milewicz said. “It ultimately comes down to offering what they want.” Milewicz has added the Grecian Bistro in the food court in the Trojan Center, the TSU student center, replacing the Sub Connection. He said the change will appeal to a greater number of students. A more interactive web site is in the works that will list menus and will allow students to voice comments and suggestions directly to him. Milewicz also hopes to create a catering guide for students that will be less costly than the current menu. A native of Mobile, Milewicz graduated in 1993 from Jacksonville State University with a degree in hotel and restaurant management, while working for Sodexho Campus Services, which provides campus dining services for TSU. He received his master’s degree from the University of North Alabama. He has worked for Sodexho more than 14 years at the University of North Alabama and at the University of Tampa. |
