students selected for Spring Honors Recital

students
have been chosen to perform at the TSU Spring Honors Recital
April 21, 2004
in the Hawkins-Adams-Long
Hall of Honor at
7:30 p.m.
The students have to first be recommended
by their private instructors and then win an audition before a panel of music
faculty. The following students will be performing:
- Gunter Akridge, a senior music educations major from
Elba
,
who will be playing the trombone;
- Hayley Canterbury, a junior music education major from Flomaton,
who will be playing the bassoon;
- Josh Cockrell, a junior music education major from
Dothan
,
who will be playing the trombone;
- Melanie Hanlon, a sophomore elementary education major from
Interlachen
,
Fla.
,
who will be playing the trumpet;
- Jeremy Leach, a junior music education major from
Ft.
Walton Beach
,
Fla.
,
who will be playing the horn; and
- Liu Shuang, a senior music education major from
Szechuan
China
,
who will be playing the trumpet.
